I looked at the drying flowers hanging over my bed since 6 months.Once they were bright yellow, soft and beautiful. Now, they are dry, dull-coloured.....but they are still beautiful in my eyes. Every dull thing appears beautiful if you have some fond memories attached to it.
It is a long bunch of flowers and I have no idea how to preserve them. All the flowers have dried but still, have not left the twig. I am going to shift to another place and I am in a dilemma on whether to throw away those dried flowers or to preserve them. If I have to preserve, then how???? This is the question..
Oh ! You must be getting anxious to know what made those dried flowers so special. They were absolutely not the best flowers in the world. They were just picked from a busy roadside tree. It was a very common tree, and there was nothing special about it.
We had planned a movie but could not get tickets for it. So, we entered another movie hall, only to get bored in just one hour. So, we decided to get away from there. He didn't have his bike that day due to some problem. So, we had a long road before us and I suggested him to walk all the way hand in hand. Just then, I pointed out to a tree beside the road. The tree was completely covered with flowers. In a wink of eye, he walked to the tree and plucked a bunch for me, leaving the people around staring at us. It was a brave act for him, stupid act for the people and a very sweet memory for me. I was so impressed and so happy that had he proposed me with those flowers, I would have hugged him infront of a staring crowd. Thank you my dear sweetheart........!!!
Just donno what it is with me and how it is happening with me. But I feel this is an inner instinct to make you smile in every occasion..in all possible ways...Thanks for your smile.
